Austrian designer Rainer Mutsch used fiber cement to create light shades for outdoor lamps. The lights were created for manufacturer molto luce. Fiber cement is a common architecture material for cladding and roof coverings. It is durable, frost resistant and 100% recyclable. The Clip can be used as a up or down-light.
The Finnish designer Willem Heeffer used old washing machines drums to create a colourful lamps. The lamps are powder coated in six different colours and are suspended on 1mm thick cable. The designer is giving a second life to the old washing machines and as a result the final product is 90% recycled material.
