Łódź Design Festival to obecnie najwazniejsze wydarzenie w Europie Srodkowo-Wschodniej na którym prezentuje się design w rożnych jego odsłonach - od wzornictwa przemysłowego, poprzez arts and crafts, projektowanie graficzne, architekturę aż po modę.

The future is here is currently exhibiting at design museum in London. It's a collection of furniture available to be downloaded for free through the creative common licence.
Opendesk collection approaches creative community in all backgrounds through the internet to produce furniture using CNC-machines from the files on their website.
You can be as much involve as you want, it's more like DIY project, choosing files, materials, production style for constructing your pieces of furniture.

Loft in Poznan by PL Architekci

Polish architects of Polish studio PL.architekci have createda new studio for themselves inside a disused loft in Poznan

Located in the city's historic quarter, the renovated attic provides a two-storey workplace featuring exposed timber trusses and white-painted brickwork.

"Nothing in our office is pretending to be anything else," explain the architects. "What we see is either our modern work or the building's original construction."

Seventeen new windows bring daylight into the attic for the first time, offering a view across the neighbouring rooftops
